There's no escaping Arashi it seems.. not that I was trying. :x

I was trying to look up other tips from translators(I've been translating manga lately), and I find a post complaining about how some native japanese girl was rejected from the arashi fansubbing group on livejournal.. (for some reason I can't remember their name atm and I have to leave for work in like 10 min and my mind is like =__=) and the girl's friend was ranting about it *laff* :l

and then I'm checking the news on my iphone like I usually do before bed, so I'm not so completely estranged from the rest of the world, and mr. gantz comes up on my list like 5 times... お久しぶりですね、ニノ。

and before that, I forget what I was doing, but I ended up on a page reviewing natsuiro... あぁ。潤君も来てくれて。

I was thinking of mass purchasing some light novels from Amazon (so the shipping doesn't rape me too horribly), because I wanted to try to improve my reading speed/comprehension. But maybe I'll buy some magazines instead, they were decent for reading grammar and current slang/trends/etc.

so the other night I had a dream where Sho-kun was spying on me in the toilet (lol wtf?) with the cutest idol smile possible (rofl :<) then after that I was at a picnic with my friends and Aiba randomly showed up just laughing and joking with everyone o.o

I can't decide if I like the whole horse ranking thing on HnA or not... I love the rankings and finding out who's liked and not.. but at the same time I just feel awful for them when they're last ~___~ no one wants to be told they suck :(

for the same reason I'm not sure how much I like the mannequin5 :/ It's fun to watch them pick out outfits and their reasons.. but sometimes I think the female guests are too mean to them... "I wouldn't be able to walk next to him if he wore that"..
I always saw fashion as an extension of your true self.. so in a way.. it's like telling them you think they suck as a person.. :/
I'd be more interested in seeing things from their actual closets.. not random designer clothes so much.. although I think Ohno's wouldn't be that interesting lol blackblackblackblackblack+jeans. haha

another romance drama for Jun... I'm a little hesitant and a little excited... hesitant because I've seen so many love stories that I don't know if they can surprise me anymore.. and excited because it seems like it might be a little bit of an older love story? or are they really going to play out the 18-20 year old new to the world of adults card again? :/ I guess I'll just have to wait and see.

Ohoku seems a little more interesting now.. I was kind of hesitant before as the whole half-bald thing isn't really my style.. but it didn't seem that bad in the latest news report.. and I think Shibasaki Kou is just perfect for the shogun role :D I loved this scene it really reminded me of the manga(really good btw)

not sure how much they're actually learning tho.. lol.. the last episode about girls was basically "how to be a perverted old man" which no one needs to be taught ~_~

and rewatching them made me want some ramen xD

Is it just me, or does it seem like Jun struggles a bit with the "no script" thing they're doing now.. I've been getting this "Ohno" vibe from him lately.. I wonder :x

first off.. what does arashi ni shiyagare mean? I'm just having the worst time pinpointing a good phrase for it in english.. when I hear it I almost get this image of a gangster telling his buddy to finish them off.. or something XD so if anyone could enlighten me <3 :D

the show was fun.. but I worry what will happen when the guests aren't normally MCs.. cuz it seemed like the comedian duo was basically running the show last time.. and arashi were the guests.. even next time it's shimura ken.. and he's a big time tv guy too.. and could probably run the whole show by himself lol.. but what happens if they bring on another actor or a musician or something.. people that aren't used to leading the conversation.. all that comes to mind is.. ganbare sho-kun! 8D

Kaibutsu-kun is cute.. haha that's all I have to say xD sometimes I'm not sure if the face he's making is really portraying the way he claims the character is.. not knowing anything, a really innocent disposition about humans.. oh well.. I think the show's fun.. but it reminds me of old school power rangers.. with the random evil witch lady sending her minions and the good guys have to smack em up and save the day.. and the enemies are always sooo weak its hilarious.. but w/e I love her outfit.. the uh.. demonia? I forget.. I want one rofl xD sorry ;<

lately I've been having the same kind of thoughts.. I had the chance to get married 3 times now in my life.. and I passed them all up.. all for various reasons.. but yet it was the only thing I ever wanted since I was a kid.. to get married and have kids and be happy.. (i don't think it's that easy tho xD).. so look at me turning down three diff people.. rofl.. sigh.. sometimes I even get depressed like.. well I guess I just won't have kids.. oh well.. blah blah ;<.. but it's so sad.. because I really do like kids.. they always make me smile so naturally.. it really doesn't make sense.. people who don't want kids end up having them early and struggle with it their whole life.. and people who do love kids end up never having any :/.. of course that's not always the case.. but still :<

even now.. I have this guy who's a close friend of mine.. and I know that if I made the effort and moved out there with him.. we would be completely compatible and I'd have everything I wanted.. but yet I'm choosing to finally finish my degree and move to Japan instead.. moving to Japan is like a death sentence for my love life.. but I've spent the past 10 years chasing after different loves.. so forget it.. they can chase me now.. I give up.. lol I don't even make sense to myself.. 8D

I'm going to do an overhaul on my translations I have here. (translation index) The main thing is to make it more organized I guess.. easier to find something if you're looking for something specific. I might even re-do some of the translations. I probably have around 15 translations I never even finished that are hidden on the site too D:

There still won't be any new translations though, as I have no access to magazines.. and besides, we have more than enough translators in the community lately. There's no need for me to try to kill myself translating magazine articles that are already difficult to come by. >.<

2ch 怖い

I've never actually tried to read 2ch before.. maybe it was for the best haha.. XD

I came across an anti-thread.. which i'm sure isn't that uncommon at all.. but seriously.. some of the things these people are saying are really shocking.. it's almost amazing how strong people feel when they know other people can't see them.. they start thinking they're god or something.. they think no one can touch them because they're behind some magic screen.. that it somehow creates this perfect barrier protecting them from the outside world and all the consequences that go along with it..

there are really some harsh people out there.. I'm actually surprised at myself for being so surprised by it.. I mean.. I should at least expect this to at least some degree.. but.. do these people not believe in karma.. or anything like it? you think you can seriously get away with bad mouthing people up and down.. and expect nothing bad to happen to you in return.. I'd be so worried some plane would come crash into my house or something (donnie darko <3) to punish me for how cruel I'd been..

these people never really irk me too badly though.. I always try to envision them in rl.. sitting behind their computer.. and know full well.. that if I walked up to them in real life.. they'd never have even half the balls to say something like that to me.. and they're just cowards in the end.. I can't hate someone like that.. I just feel bad for them..

but then the more I read it.. the more I started to realize.. these are just kids.. these posters are probably only 15.. and have no idea what they're even saying.. I guess that's the wisdom that comes with age.. or rather the realization.. that you're no better than the people you're talking bad about.. the second you start talking bad about others..

don't think I'm saying all of 2ch is bad haha.. some of it was funny/useful.. like the thread about your favorite bra brand lol.. and they said how if they could find a bra with no wire but firm w/ good support it'd be like a godsend haha.. <3 if only.. if only...

It's been awhile since we first met, sometimes it even feels like some sort of strange accident, but one day we looked up and 10 years had passed.
